A drone signal shielding jammer is a drone countermeasure device that interferes with a drone's communication signals and control signals to prevent the drone from flying or performing a mission within a specific area.

The UAV signal shielding jammer generally emits a radio signal of a specific frequency, which interferes with the communication signal and control signal of the UAV, thus interfering with the normal operation of the UAV. The purpose of this jammer is to interrupt the communication link between the drone and its operator or base, forcing the drone to return to the take-off point or adopt a preset safety policy.

The working principle of the UAV signal shielding jammer is to interfere with the communication and control signals of the UAV by transmitting jamming signals. Specifically, it uses the following ways to achieve signal shielding:

Frequency interference: The jammer emits a jamming signal at the same frequency as the drone's communication signal or control signal. This causes the drone to receive a large number of misleading jamming signals, making it difficult to properly identify and decode the original signal.

Power jamming: The jammer transmits a strong signal and overlays it on the drone signal. In this way, the drone's signal becomes very weak under the strong interference of the jamming signal and cannot be correctly decoded by the drone receiving device.

Phase jamming: The jammer can emit a jamming signal that is in the opposite phase to the drone signal. When the jamming signals meet the original signal, they interfere with each other, making it impossible for the drone to decode and process the signal properly.

The purpose of these jamming methods is to interfere with the communication link between the drone and its operator, preventing the drone from receiving control signals from the operator or signals from the drone sending status and sensor data. The drone would then be unable to properly execute commands or collect and send data, effectively limiting its range or control.

The effective range of a UAV signal shielding jammer depends on the power and frequency range of the device. In general, large drones have stronger communication systems, so blocking them requires stronger jamming signals. However, interfering with drone signals could also have an impact on other communication systems in the surrounding environment.

It is important to note that unauthorized use of drone signal blocking jammers may be illegal. Before using such equipment, be sure to understand local laws and regulations and obtain the necessary permits or authorizations. Therefore, it is necessary to be careful when using jammers and comply with relevant regulations.
